Chris Donohue
Co-Founder, Chief Financial OfficerChris has been the Chief Financial Officer at Advantage Archives since 2010. Chris has over 25 years of business experience, most of which comes from the manufacturing and document imaging industries.
Chris is a member of the Cedar Rapids Downtown Rotary Club. He serves on the Youth Leadership Committee and has also volunteered for numerous service activities.
Chris graduated from Simpson College in 1994 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting. Chris played baseball at Simpson and served as Team Captain his senior year.
When not at work, Chris spends time with his wife and three children and is an avid runner, having run a marathon in the past.

Jeffrey Kiley
Co-Founder, Chief Operating OfficerJeffrey Kiley is the Co-Founder and COO of Advantage Archives and was born and raised in Cedar Rapids, Iowa where he still lives with his family.
Jeff has a passion for history; specifically the history contained in the pages of old newspapers.
As an Iowan, he believes that the preservation of our collective history is a shared responsibility. He wants other like-minded Iowans to join the State Historical Society of Iowa and Advantage Archives in their mission to ensure that Iowa’s “first draft of history” is available for current and future generations.

Matt Usher
General ManagerFor 23 years Matt has been involved in image capture, document management, records warehousing and business process solution creation in both a sales and operations capacity.

Lenny Ague
Production ManagerLenny has 11 years of experience in the scanning and document management industry. He has established procedures to maximize production efficiencies and has utilized a variety of scanning and data capturing software. He has managed processes that include prepping, scanning, quality control, and both in-house and off-shore indexing. Clients include Healthcare, Finance, Manufacturing, Bio-Tech, Government, Law Firms, and Education. Lenny has coordinated several coding projects. He has worked with clients and internal team members to establish documentation to allow for efficient, accurate, and consistent objective coding and subjective coding. Lenny has built coding teams to meet the client’s expectations for product delivery and costs. He has managed multiple levels of legal coders with various legal skills and backgrounds.

Derek Fiscus
Digital Assets & PreservationDerek our technology overlord, his day can be split between our website platform, OCR platform, Office technological infrastructure, Website infrastructure, interfacing with multiple development teams, Network architecture team, Database team, production teams, preparing and adding data to our websites, mundane IT work, managing our email services, making Business Intelligence charts and dashboards, and services requests from our account managers and partners
His technical experience ranges from Scanning and OCR software through web development and Enterprise level Search Engine and Database development and maintenance. As well as Microsoft OS and Linux OS platform scaling. Network Security, .net and database coding, business intelligence software, as a brief list of the skills he brings to the table daily

Jeff Brown
Partnership ManagerJeff Brown has been in the Newspaper Preservation Industry for over 18 years. Jeff Specializes in Iowa History and builds strong partnerships with Public Libraries, Historical Societies, Genealogical Societies, Newspaper Publishers, and Commercial Agencies across the state. his History degree and his Economics degree from Cornell College and fuels his interest in Genealogical Research, and historical document preservation.
Jeff is an expert in Microfilming Historical Newspapers or Documents on 35 mm Silver Halide (ANSI and AIIMS specifications). You can expect a fast turnaround time for your microfilm as most projects take no longer than 30 days for us to complete and ship the film.

Michelle Maltas
Partnership ManagerMichelle has been in the Newspaper Preservation Industry for over 11 years. Before entering the industry, Michelle was an Education Software consultant working with School District from around the United States. Michelle works with Public Libraries, University Libraries, Historical Societies, Genealogical Societies, and Newspaper Publishers across the United States, providing institutions with a long-term preservation model (Microfilm) and a user-friendly model (Digitization). Michelle has been married for 34 years outside of work and enjoys spending time with her two daughters and two grandchildren.
Michelle will work with you on a one-to-one basis from beginning to end of each project, assuring the outcome you want and expect.

Larry Eckhardt

Brady Donohue
Partnership Communications ManagerBrady has been the Partnership Communications Manager at Advantage Archives since 2021. Brady graduated from Mount Mercy University in Cedar Rapids, IA, in Marketing and Operations Management. At Mount Mercy, Brady was a pitcher on the baseball team.
Brady works to build partnerships with leaders to provide communities free digital access to local history.
When not at work, Brady enjoys boating and jet skiing at Lake of the Ozarks, Golfing, and spending time with his two-year-old Chocolate Lab.

Tanner Lohaus
Graphic DesignerTanner Lohaus has been with Advantage Archives since 2021. Tanner attended The University of Northern Iowa, where he played basketball. He would end up finishing his education at Mount Mercy University and was a pitcher on the baseball team. Tanner would graduate with a Degree in Graphic Design.
When not at work, tanner enjoys Golfing and spending time with his 3-year-old Black Lab.
